RECYCLE UPDATE – The City of Dallas had supplied free blue bags for recycle items to the community for several years as part of a pilot program. That program has ended and all the free bags have been distributed. In addition, the recycle dumpsters, which the city supplied and serviced at no charge, will be removed.

Arrangements are being made to continue the recycling program because equipment rental and pick-up fees will be less than if recycle items were added to the garbage disposal contract. Therefore, going forward, residents will need to purchase recycle bags. Hefty, Glad, Kirkland and Simple Human are brands that are available at retail locations. Google “recycling bags” to purchase online. Bags must be translucent – blue or clear are available.

REMINDER – BE RESPONSIBLE! OUR WASTE CONTRACTS DO NOT PERMIT DISPOSAL OF THE ITEMS BELOW AND THE ASSOCIATION IS SUBJECT TO PENALTY FEES FOR ALL VIOLATIONS.
WHEN YOU ARE PURCHASING REPLACEMENTS FOR THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW, PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE RETAILER, CONTRACTOR OR DELIVERY COMPANY TO HAUL AWAY THE OLD ITEM. (FOR OTHER DISPOSAL OPTIONS, SEE THE PWCCCA RULES, ARTICLE 6. E.)
